Session FeesStandard Fees are $130 per 50 minute consultation. Concessional rates for Health Care Card holders/ Centrelink recipient and pensioners are $110 per 50 minute consultation. If you pay your account in full on the day of the appointment, a $10 discount applies. Rebates and concession may be available through Medicare and Private Health Insurance. If you are eligible for a Medicare Rebate your “out of pocket” expense after this rebate will be $41.60 per session# (Concessional $21.60 per session # )
Payments can be accepted via cash or EFTPOS from your Cheque, Savings or Credit accounts. For your convenience, the practice offers Medicare ‘Easyclaim’ which means that we can direct your Medicare Rebate directly into your Cheque or Savings Account, so that you will not need to attend a Medicare Office. Alternatively, we will provide a receipt for you to take to Medicare or private health fund.

Medicare RebatesTo access a rebate under Medicare you will need to obtain a referral from a GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician. A GP will need to complete a “Care Plan” which involves an assessment of your circumstances and a determination that you are experiencing a condition that is eligible for a rebate under Medicare. This would entitle you to a rebate for 6 sessions initially, with a further 6 sessions after your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician has reviewed your circumstances. Private Health RebatesA proportion of your consultation fee may be reclaimed through private health funds. We are registered with all major health insurers. The practice offers HICAPS which means that you can claim you rebate from your private health at the time of your appointment. Please contact your health fund if you wish to determine your individual amount of rebate per consultation.
